Mixed Media Artist
As an artist, I work hard to develop paintings that speak both to me and to
others about the beauty and ugliness that exists in the world around me and my
interaction with it.
Part of my process before I begin painting is to immerse myself in the subject matter.
I like to paint everything I see, feel and experience or endure.
Using a variety of materials and processes gives me unlimited freedom.
The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work.
The challenge is to capture the moment it in all its glory.
My artwork speaks for me.
I want to paint more than I see , I want what I feel to be in there too, the mystery and ambiguity, the journey.
To better understand me and my art it might help if you go to the
influences page under the " About me" tab you will see some
excerpts from a book by Desiderious Orban that I hope it may explain the
direction I have been taking with my work..
I have no interest in being a camera.
